During an RVHS walk back in 2011 from Allen House, Sowerby Bridge to Norland a section of unusual walling was brought to the attention of one of our members Brian Howcroft. Welcome to the Ryburn Valley History Society
The society exists to research the history of the Ryburn Valley and areas adjacent, to encourage research by individuals and to share relavent information. The society provides a yearly syllabus to include talks, discussions, walks and visits locally and farther afield
The Ryburn Valley is situated in West Yorkshire, South West of Halifax and covers the areas of interest illustrated below
The Society meets the 1st Monday of every Month, 7:30pm at Ripponden Conservative club HX6 4BG
